cooling holes drilled, now leaks
circle track 9-1 360. mag heads/LA block. the heads were left as is & pretty much the new addit'l holes were added in the block and gaskets to match the heads per Sanborns sticky. decks are flat/bolt threads look good/bolt threads lightly oiled/torqued in multiple steps to 100. rad blows like a geyser in minutes of startup. what did I do wrong! Here is a new gasket(s) ready to try again. I cut the new holes in the felpros with an end mill & the dark area around the hole perimeters is where I dremeled the fluff away that was kicked up on one side from the drilling. I have pics but they will not load, likely too big. I'm out of ideas.

Drilling a head gasket will likely leave many small burrs around the new hole and I'm not sure that using the dremel to de-burr will get them good enough. Maybe try chamfering by using a step type drill bit. Using a punch to create the holes would probably be best.

Try to use unmodified gaskets just to see if it still leaks. if it stops you are doing something wrong with the gaskets if the leak is sill there you have issues with the block or heads.
