I HAVE DECIDED TO BUILD A 408. IF I'M GONNA RUN WITH THE BIG BOYS I HAVE TO BUILD A BIG BOY !! LIKE I'VE TOLD YOU BOYS IN THE PAST, I HAVE A 5-6000 DOLLAR BUDGET. I STILL WANT AS MUCH HP AS POSSIBLE. WHAT APPLICATIONS WOULD YOU MOPAR MEN USE TO GET AROUND DEM 406'S DEM GM BOYS IS RUNNING. IF YOU CAN BE SPECIFIC WITH PARTS I'D APPRECIATE IT ALOT.THANKS, BO

Start with a 360 or 340 block. get mopars 4" strock crank for block used. call your favorite cam company and tell them what compresion track type lenghth car weight rpm range etc. get good set of forgrd pistons and eagle rods. crank will have to be internally ballanced. you can get a crank, rods, and pistons ,rings, bearing etc. from muscle motors in lansing mich. fo about 3000. then select heads according to your rules. then go out and thump em. good luck
