Default Electrical Diagrams

Where is a good place on the internet to find a diagram (schematic) for the engine electrical system on a 95 Dakota. I am having problems diagnosing a no-spark condition on my Dakota. It is a 2.5 liter 4 cyl. Thanks, Don.

What codes do you have on your Dakota?

I will have to check the codes. The situation is that I replaced the clutch and accidentally pinched one of the wires that run between the block and the firewall The truck is a 2.5 liter four cylinder. I re-started the truck after the clutch change and let it run for about 5 minutes when it died. I checked for spark and it didn't have any. That is when I found the bad wire (orange in color). I repaired the wire and also replaced the connector on the coil as the wires were in bad shape. I have since tried to restart the truck and it still has no spark. It appears I may have either crossed the wires or I have another problem. One of the relays will "chatter" and the TBI injector will open and shoot fuel into the manifold when I try to start it. Man, I hate electrical problems.

The electrical problem turned out to be a loose ground. I missed re-installing one of the ground wires on the back of the head. I have spark.

It was a ground I forgot when I did the injectors on the Volvo. You are not alone. I am glad you found it.
