I'm planning on installing a 180 t-stat in my '99 dak 4x4 CC 5spd 318. Since there isn't a big difference in price(they all seem to be around $10),what's the best one to use? I've heard some brands flow more accurately(that is, they stay closer to 180 without varying much)and others are not as accurate. I've also heard that some don't fit very well even though they are listed for for the Magmum 5.2 engine. Which ones have you guys had the best luck with?

I'm running a Stant, it has been flawless so far. Some don't like Stant, some do.

Robert Shaw definitely, flows more and comes with it's very own funky flying saucer shaped housing

I got the HD model, I believe it is stainless but I don't have the box anymore. p/n 59358 with a Fel Pro 35064 gasket.

I'm running the 180 super stant with a stan gasket. Replaced the thermo about 2 months ago when I replaced the waterpump, havent had any trouble, seems to hold a consistant temp.
