Do a LOT of us a favor and make a Gen 2 nose! It'll look better on your truck than the gen 1!

As for bumpers... AAR makes them.

What do you have in mind for the nose? a 1 piece lift off? I have contacted a number of glass places asking for them to make fenders, but no one had any interest.

Is there a reason why you want to stay gen 1? I have a feeling if it was gen 2, it would appeal to a much larger group.

as for the gen 2 dakota i don't own one to disassemble and make molds of the parts. I suppose it could be done if there was enough interest.

Im not trying to go into business making glass parts i dont know if you have ever done it before but its nasty time consuming work.
I was just asking to see if people were interested in some parts to offset the expense of making the molds

as for staying with the gen 1 truck I like it i guess.,never owned a gen 2 dakota

the nose will probably tilt forward with a pin on hood.with functional ram air scoops

as for the bumper i know of at least 2 different ones email me a picture of the one you have and we can work something out

remember customize dont compromise

I didnt mean to insult your choice of gen's!

Just curious. I would be interested in some fenders that would work on my truck. a 1 piece tilt nose isnt too critical. Fenders, hood, and bumper would be nice though. Anyone with a Gen2 live near him!?

What kinda price would you need for the fenders? I guess I am in need of both right and left so If I could get them glass to match the hood good deal.

Well as far as price it would depend on the amount of fiberglass it takes to make the fenders to start with. Then unless you need to make a fortune off these I personally would figure the cost of making the mold then divide that by the number of us wanting fenders, and add that to the cost of the fiberglass and maybe add $10-20 a fender for labor, depending on how hard it is? I guess that is how I would do it if it were me. You guys do all know we can get replacement aftermarket fenders for like $70 each but they are metal so....

Brian

I guess I will wait til I see a solid price before I decide either way.

Brian, have a couple beers, dont be so serious. This is the internet after all!!!!! Actually, your thoughts are dead nuts on. Make the fenders, we will buy them, and you can make a little profit. We know the game, we wont complain.

if you find that the process goes pretty easy.. would you consider making some front bumpers with the factory valance attached? I know AAR makes bumpers, but they have that sport truck valance which i didnt want.

rolleyes2 bumpers

I know the process Ive helped hermy for months on the cutlasss its not hard its just time consuming.

fromt bumper would be easy i just need a straight part to make the mold off of. the better the part the better the mold and thus the best glass parts that dont need any work when they come out of the mold. glassing them together isnt hard either

do you have a picture of the one you want?? with the correct valance attached. my dakota sport has a valance under the bumper email me a pic if you can
