Oil choices
The TDR ran an article some time back that reported an independant test of synthetic oils. Redline oil came out on top, so I changed to Redline this last change. Our trip to San Diego and back showed two interesting changes in the engine. The oil pressure has risen about 15 PSI at 75MPH, running at 70 PSI. Fuel mileage was slightly better at 21.2, as opposed to 20.4 before the Redline change.

Too bad DWC isn't here to read that.

I have also noted that the oil is staying much cleaner after the switch. I'm assuming that Redline has better viscosity with heat, sealing the rings better. Interesting.
