Help ABS issue

I have a 2001 Ram 2500 w/ a cummins. The ABS ligth came on this morning and when I turned the truck off the small electrical motor associated with the ABS continued to run. I unplugged the larger of the two electrical connections mounted above it and the motor stopped.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. I have 317,000 miles on the truck and this is the first problem I have had with the ABS brakes. I did just replace the front pads aboyt 3-4 weeks ago.
