Better mileage
Is there any sure way to get better mileage from a 2006 Ram 2500 Diesel that is still in warranty

Put it on a trailer and tow it to where you are going...
What mileage are you currently getting? What size tires do you have? Which transmission? etc A bed cover will help. A AFE cold air intake will help. |

Better mileage
right now i can get between 20-22 on the hwy at 60-65 mph. The tires are stock 265/70r17e all season, the trans is a 48RE.4.10 gears,bed cover.

I would have to ask if you have set the valves.
if so, try a little tighter. like .008 intake and .015 exhaust. Your mileage isn't that bad. IF you are willing to spend some money on it, a camshaft change could be worth it. Stock cam is far too small. |
