Help Serpentine Belt

I have a 2006 5.9 HO Cummins and the serpentine burned off with a seized AC compressor. To put the new belt on do I need to disconnect the fan sensor wire assembly that goes from the fan hub to the fan shroud mounting bracket? It looks like that would be required to do the job. I am working without a manual and this truck is different than my 01 5.9.
Thanks
Freddy

get a manual--it describes it to a tee and get an extra belt for a spare
