47RE converter lock up harshshift

i have a 2002 2500 diesel 47RE it bangs into lock up, very irratating especially when towing, when i,m on a 2 lane winding road in lock up, when i back off the throttle to go around a turn it comes out of lock up , then i get back on the throttle it bangs into lock up again, if i dont get a solution soon i,m putting a stick in it , 6months ago i had the tranny rebuilt by a dodge truck mechanic & i upgraded to a Banks triple disc converter, help please

How are your other shifts? Part throttle, 3/4 and wide open throttle? Are they all harsh?

I would expect a harsher lockup with a triple disc converter. But there is a point of being excessive.
