iron or alumimum v-10
Are there any major differences between iron and aluminum v-10 engines other than the intake manifold. Block? Heads? Crank? Pistons? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Almost nothing will interchange. Not even the cam. :-( PCRMike

I have heard that the cylinder heads were a direct replacement Gen I viper only.

No, in fact, of all the interchangeability the other engine lines have in the Mopar stable, why they changed it all so dramatically is a mystery to me. I was told the bore spacing is even different between them, meaning the heads, crank, cam, etc. won't work. Maybe because of the material expansion differences? I dunno. :-)PCRMike

What service manual would I need to rebuild/blueprint the iron v-10 engine?
