Chrysler To sell Viper Line?

The rumor is that Chrysler is looking to sell it's Viper line to increase cash flow. If this is true, do you think they should do it? How would this effect Chrysler's image?

I say do it...Its better than letting Chrysler cancel the car. Besides Chrysler may disappear and leave only Dodge Caravans and Chrysler PT Cruisers as part of the New GM.. No room for a Viper when GM already makes a Vett.
Besides if Chrysler sells the line and then Chrysler Dies off, at least something of Mopar Lives

chrysler better not sell off the viper line or better yet sell out to GM, I hate GM and will refuse to own/drive a GM, GM is junk from the get go, no thanks as long as i can still get parts for my 01 ram, i'll keep on driving it

If Chrysler and GM merge the only thing that will be left of "Chrysler" will be Jeep and the Dodge Caravan...
The BEST thing that could happen is if the Viper gets sold off to a small manufacturer, someone who gets it...the possibility that Chrysler Dissapears within the next year is like 1000% If you dont go out and Buy a Challenger or New Charger within the next couple months...well it could be you last chance ever.
