I'm trying to do a Viper powered resto rod. A '56 DeSoto. I'd like to put a Viper fuel pump/sending unit in my DeS tank. Who made the fuel pump unit? Car-stuff.com shows a Delphi#WO1334-1838391 or a Carter# C44P74700M or a C44P74659M. The Delphi is nice price @$186. Are there others that I could sub w/the necessary pressure? Aeroquip wants $1100 for their in tank and still need regulator etc! Anybody know the pump dimensions? H x Dia? voltage to guage?
Part numbers? Price? Vendors? Thanx |

Check with these guys. They don't have the Viper listed, but may know which pump it needs.

I don't know the exact dimensions but the original Viper pump is part of a fuel pump module that contains the pump, level sender, filter and check valve. I think you'll find the module is way too deep for a '56 fuel tank.
