Cool The psychology of colors saved my ...

The psychology of colors saved my a$$ tonight - the Yellow Viper that I was driving was clocked going 48 MPH in a 35. The policeman smiled and gave me a warning instead of a ticket. He said I even went up to 58 MPH in less than a block. I told him the truth - I didn't realize it got up to that speed so fast since I was less than 1/4 throttle He said he saw me take the corner at a high rate of speed and accelerate, but he couldn't believe how stable the car looked taking the corner that fast or how fast it accelerated afterwards. I got out and showed him the engine and told him about my Viper and offered to take him on a ride - a real short one just up to the speed limit. I could see that he wanted to take me up on my offer, but he was on duty and he couldn't.

Viper Race Yellow is the color of yellow smilies and it made the fine gentleman smile and give me a warning instead of a ticket.

I'm glad I wasn't driving an Arrest-Me Red Viper!

This is the 2nd time you've been stopped in how many months for exceeding the posted speed limit

I'm countin' the times, too, BillyBob. That's why I now have a Valentine One Radar Detector. Better safe than sorrier.

Thumbs up used to believe in detecters too

but anymore, and in a situation like that all they do is tell you when to get out your wallet, and can be used to your disadvantage when the officer asks, did your detecter go off? When you say yes its an admission of guilt.Think about it.If i had a Viper you would just arrest me on the way home and get it over with, you would be doing it soon anyway,so just shame on you!
