Well again Allen Johnson is king of the mountain. Not sure why that Mopar likes the thin air. I know it was thought that the Stratus being a littte wider was able to cut thru the thin air with the Pontiacs. But don't believe that is the case with the Avenger body. Their Mopar Hemi just doesn't lose as much power as ALL others.

AJ has consistantly had the fastest Dodge P/S & the fastest car out there with the exception of Mike Edwards who is way ahead of all the cars in the field. AJ is right on his heels & getting closer all the time.

With Edwards little hickups lately Johnson has closed the gap. Looking back at qualifing postions or the past 4 or so events its pretty close. I fully expect the Summit boys to make a move once the points are re-set. For all sense of purpose Allen Johnson stands alone as the only Mopar car challenging GM. Ford of course it still too far behind for this year. If I was on the board of Chrysler I would be offering what ever resources possible to Allen's championship quest. His success relates to more hemi sales!
