acorrding to the october issue of cruzin northwest, ''jim rockstads out,"dec 31 2001" and the track will be turned over to the hands of the seattle based 'fiorito brothers'under the banner of pacific raceway. the cruzin staff talked to their spokesperson "john love" and he said"we have design proposals, preliminary concepts and were preparing to jump on things immediately on january 1 2002," they also say "they've been talking with the nhra and theirs going to be plans for a completely new track" the staff at cruzin also talked to mr.archambeault of the nhra and he feels that sir needs inprovement and feels that the fiorito brothers have some great plans for the new track. the artical concludes with "sir is not going to become a subdivision,nhra will be racing in 2001 and new ownership takes over in 2002 and the future may be worth the wait!!!! '

morpower i talked to the grounds keeper in feb. of this year. he works at sir. and he told me that the track had been sold . nhra put a bid in for 3 mill. sir turned it down the fiorito brothers also put a bid in but i dont know for how much. and it was turned down as well from what i understand. i hope that i am wrong and you are right.
