Pro ET Track Champion!
I finally did it. I had the championship sewn up after I won third round. Then I put a period on it by winning the race. For the last four race weekends in a row I went to the final round and won three of them. Not to shabby for my first year back after laying out for three years.
I need to buy a lotto ticket though for the way my Saturday night luck has been going. |

And on top of that the rear end was getting increasingly noisey last night so I pulled it apart this morning to find ten broken ring gear teeth. I'm amazed it made it through the night as it started getting noisey after the second time run. I still put seven more passes on it after that. By the final round I'm hoping it will stay together for just one more pass. lol
Here is a pic. |

ring gear
Is that from an 8 3/4? Man if that is what a noisy rear looks like I would hate to see a catastrophic failure.
Good job on the season. We can all rejoice on all Mopar success. What championship are you referring too? NHRA Southeast division 2? |

Thanks All.
I'm the Orlando Speed World track champion. Technically since they combine Street and Pro ET together in one class I'm the Sportsman Track Champion. I get to race in the "Race of Champions" at the Division 2 finals in October at South Georgia Motorsports Park along with the regular division race. Yes the ring gear is out of an 8 3/4. I found a Pro set from Precision Gear and got it today. So I'll be ready to do battle again soon. |

Yep, I would be getting a Lotto ticket as it looks like the earth, moon, sun, and stars are all aligned in your favor.
Congratulations on all the final round appearances. Bill |

A spool with that 8 3/4
Do you use any kind of spool with your rear?
I will be targeting the same class with my Duster next year in Division 5. Would be a blast to have the Dusters meet down the road sometime. Will you be defending next year? I attached a couple pics of my Pars. |

Yes, I use a Strange spool and the MP aluminum carrier. I'm putting in a 9310 pro gear this time.
And yes I hope to return next year, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. |
