Ah crap, I was gonna post but you beat me to it. Here's a few more pics. http://www.autonews.com/files/2003_d...Dodge/Durango/

While I don't like the styling, I do love the HEMI! Maybe PVO will drop the new blown hemi out of the Magnum into that thing for the SRT version.

wow Not Sure Now

Dang! Now I'm not sure what I want to do. I really wanted the new Hemi Durango, but I really don't like the body style. There are some things that I like about it, but I'm not crazy about the overall package (on the outside). Maybe it'll grow on me the more I see it. These are comming out for the '04 model year, right? Maybe I'll just have to get a Hemi crate engine and drop it into my current R/T.
Thanks for the pictures.

Apparently this is only a concept and the styling still could change a little but is supposed to be about 85% of the production level exterior design.
For more information see:

Default There's hope yet

TJJ,

Thanks for the link to that article. If the exterior is 85% accurate (and they change the 15% that I don't like), I'll be hooked. In my opinion, they just need to get rid of those wheel flares, the head and tail lights and the two tone bumpers. Other than those things, the new Durango sounds GREAT! It's no wonder the prototype looks like it does. The design cheif is an ex-audi designer, and I think that the Audi TT may be the ugliest car to ever be produced (just my personal opinion).
Now I just need to figure out how to convince my wife that I'll be needing a new truck.

I'd love to put that engine in my 02. Has anybody done it, or know of a shop that is looking into it?

Might do some great all wheel drive burn outs!

This new Durango looks great. I just hope that they built a better front suspension than the current one, one where the ball joints don't wear-out before 50,000 kms or earlier.
