Default Ole Matador, Ole!

So bad that its actually pretty good. Would have never looked for one like this, probably never will see one again. Reminds me of a full size Camaro. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/car/739032469.html

I used to have a black '74 Matador. It had a 401 big block with an A727 and a 4.11 gear in a Dana. Pretty fast car in stock form.

AMC had some pretty cool cars. I had a 73 Hornet X 2 dr post hatchback with the 258 six 2bbl 4 spd. Black with gold stripes down the sides. Embarassed more than one V8.

Well Dave, this is the color in question

Had a guy tell me he might get his BMW M3 painted in that color after seeing the above picture

Well it does look better than the two tone green that was on my '68 Sattilite. IT was light green on the bottom with a dark green top.

A little red, white, and blue paint, it'll look like Bobby Allisons Penske racer!

My dad wanted to use a Matador as a stock car. I never got to see it. But the Matador was is in too good a shape, so it got some minor body work and went to be his (body shop) partners daughters first car. A 69 firebird worked out good tho, and later, a wrecked 77 Trans Am. Bet you can't dig up a Hudson Hornet picture? He made them go fast in circles too, in the day.
