Not that rare, they had 3 of them at the auto show in Rochester this year and every Chrysler dealer has a couple on the lot.

Tell ya what ... I haven't been able to get any info about 2009 Sebring retractable hardtop cars from the Chrysler dealerships or from the Chrysler website , also no info as to how many 08s were produced . If this is a one year production car the selling price goes up to $100,000.00 . Laugh it off then !

Yep, I would certainly laugh off ANY $100k Chrysler Sebring unless its gold or platinum plated.

Seeing as the Sebring Convertible Hardtop is NOT a limited production car, you can guarantee they made plenty of them. Most manufacturers dont do many limited production pieces much anymore as they dont make much on them. If it was some kind of low production car, they would advertise that fact to make people want them more. Face it, youve got a $38k (at the most) when new car that is now used with 4k miles on it and youre trying to get an outrageous amount of money for it. Good luck, havent you heard we are in a recession?

It took FORD 3 years to figure out that their !957 - 58 - 59 retractables were limited production cars ! With todays technology Chrysler should figure it out in one production year . Do you remember what caused the Ford retractable to get discontinued from production ? I had a '58' and it was so cool that I just had to have this Sebring .

Yes, they were heavy, had rattles, leaked at the joints, were expensive to build and had a tiny "fenced in area" for trunk storage. Oh, did I mention they were too boxy in the ass end? For these and probably other reasons, the buying public didn't support the idea.

Gee last fall the local Chrysler dealer had a car show I went to and they had 3 or 4 of the hardtop convertibles on the lot. Don't recall the price but they certainly weren't rare and certainly were $50k.
