For Sale: Rare! 1991 Dodge Daytona Shelby

Hi there! I'm new to this forum. I'm actually from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Thought I'd try and advertise my car on here. To make things a bit easier for myself I've decided to just copy and paste my ad. If interested, there are more pictures available.

Cheers!

Second owner! Never winter driven! Fully loaded! 2.5L, 4 cyl, 5 spd, turbo/intercooled. In 2004 the car was converted into a street race car. Approx. $12,500+ invested in pwrtrain, & other parts & accessories. Original motor and low kms! All mechanical work was professionally done. Receipts avail. Absolute immaculate shape inside & out! MUST SEE! Last quarter mile time run, 13.1@107mph as of Sept 2004 (time slip avail.). There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car.

I noticed there's a few views on hand but no interest.

I'm getting the impression the price is what's scaring everyone. Tell you what? I will be completely honest saying that this car is no doubt worth every penny however I will be willing to let it go around the 9-10 grand mark and that is only because I have other plans and commitments now.

How often can you find a Daytona like this one, hop in it, turn the key and drive. Keeping in mind you are driving very nice looking low 13sec car! Possible 12's with slicks/drag radials.....I really can't find anything that some one would want to do with it besides maybe building it up further so that it can run 10's, 11's.

That is why it's rare!

Let me know if your interested.

I see not one reply...........I will let it go for $8000.00 Negotiable.

The car alone without the build up is worth at least $6-7 grand.

**MUST SELL**

I will take offers.................

Wow, a $4,500 reduction in just 20 days and even that is negotiable.

You have a nice car. It looks good and reportedly performs well. Sometimes this forum doesn't get the anticipated response to want ads.

Have you tried Ebay? That would get your car tremendous exposure.

I just ran an Edmunds price check on that model, with options, but without your mods. High book selling price is $2005, USD. Not good news. You need to find a discriminating buyer who will recognize your work and your modifications, along with the associated costs to bring a standard car up to the condition of yours.

I think Ebay is worth a shot. Sometimes a feeding frenzy can boost the price.

Good luck and let us know if you sell your car.
