Juan wins one in Sonoma!

And it's his first win too!!
"The winner got past McMurray for a moment two laps earlier, driving his Dodge past McMurray's Ford in the slow hairpin near the end of the circuit, but Montoya got too wide and McMurray was able to squeeze back by."

Default Congrats

Good one!
Also it's good to see that he won by winning and not by wrecking out the competition like he did in Mexico.
Congratulations Juan!

Well, after the way Dale Sr. and a few others were allowed to put folks into the wall, it wouldn't hurt my feelings too much if Juan nudged a few other blowties and blew ovals out of the way!

Except for the fact that it was his TEAMMATE.

Gotta point on that one, it was good to see him win. Lets just hope NA$CAR doesn't feel the need to look extra close to make sure he didn't have an extra tank in the car (he was supposedly almost out of gas, and since his Mopar beat a Chevy, he must be cheating )

His team mate should have moved over cause they knew he was the faster car. I'd a gave him a nudge too.

Well, if he does that to his teammate, would you get in his way if you weren't on his team?
Yeah, that was a silly thing to do, but it's still cool he won this time!
If he does "nerf" anyone next time, I'm hoping it's a Terd-ota, but a blowtie would be ok too.

I dare say that if any of us here were in the same position as JPM to grab a win by moving their teammate out-of-the-way as he did, we would have done the same.
As far as yesterdays win, well deserved from well back in the field on a tough course with a relatively short amount of laps to do it in.

I doubt if that matters as he is a true talent much like Stewart.

Bring on the flames.

But is Gordon as willing to "bang doors" with Montoya as he is with Stewart

Dad watched the whole race and said that Jr did pretty well for the race being on a road course. Guess that incident in the ALMS Vette lit a fire under him to get better on those kind if courses......

Is that not the first Road race CUP win for a Dodge?? Finally? Dodge hasn't had too many great road racers lately, funny thing too, Juan had the same team McMurray had 2 years ago, and they they were commenting on McMurrays road racing, well, he learned from Scott Pruit, was he even in the race, or was he ticked over the mexico road race deal?? I told my wife, even after Juan qualified 32 or whatever he would be good there...lets he, Watkins Glen in a few weeks or so, eh?

Jamie Mac was beat by the car he said he couldn't win in. Certain irony, No?
