1995 neon vin codes

I need a fuel pump for a 1995 neon 4 dr I made into a race car and I covered the vin with my aluminium dash they show pumps for c,n,and y codes as the same pump were there only 3 vin codes for the 1995 neon?

why is a new fuel pump at the local parts houses 189.00 dollars but they are availabe on ebay new in the box for less than 50.00 ?

Mark up. I needed one in a hurry for my '97 neon, I got it at a salvage yard for $ 35. Forget about a new one from Chrysler. (probably $ 150. from them)

Not sure where the "N" comes from, the Neons came with either a SOHC or DOHC 2.0 liter engine and that is what that "C" or "Y" is designating, C = SOHC, Y = DOHC. As far as I know, no difference in the fuel pumps for any of them. Difference in years is that after 95 (not sure what year) they changed from 10 gallons steel fuel tank to 12.5 gallon plastic one.

There should be another VIN plate on the driver's door.
