02 neon r/t tranny in 02 neon es? - Moparchat

hello,

i have a 2002 dodge neon es and i want to know if it is easy to swap the transmission for the lower geared r/t tranny. shouldnt it bolt right on fine? and how about drive shafts are they the same?

can anyone help me on this? i wrecked my transmission by shifting into first with the clutch pedal depressed and i may need to replace the whole transmission (fried some synchros). i just wanted to know if it would be an easy swap for that r/t tranny...

oops i forgot to add the fact that i shifted while going 70 mph on I-95. i never let off the clutch so the engine never over revved...
