Whoever did that should be caught and made to pay every last red cent of the cars' value, then hauled to jail for arson and vadalism.

This was in Russia, so the "penalties" for this could have been a whole lot worse, especially of the police weren't involved in doling them out The article I read elsware more or less said the car was, for the lack of a better word, "Lynched" because of the plate number by some of the more religious locals.

Holy crap Batman. So that's what a burned up Viper looks like. Now that is taking it a bit too far. Looks like something a Muslim would do.
I must say ,however, that I don't dig that number. Sometimes when I'm reading meters, it comes up so I input 667.Most of my fellow meter readers do it as well even though they may not be very devout. I guess most of us sense the significance of that number in more ways than one.

Viper and 666 make a fine couple, as it was a Viper that convinced Adam & Eve to eat the apple.

As far as meters go, I would be the one round to 666 anytime I could. What can I say, I like to F with people...

I'd suspect a simple accident with no satanic connotations.

Vipers are well known for fires with causes from the fuel system or blowing the P/S cap off and igniting the fluid on the headers. Below is a P/S fire.

I wouldn't want triple sixes on my plate for the same reason I don't buy a vanity plate. I just don't want the extra attention, especially from the constables!
Silly thing to trash someone's car for though.

Yeah, that's all over the net (even Mopar forums)... The mature attitude here is one of the reasons I stick to MoparChat for most of my posts.

Having been to Russia many times over the years... I think it's a hoax!

First off if you can afford a viper in Russia...you can afford a gun or two and the car would not belong to a regular person in Russia. Only a Novo Ruskie(new Russian) would be able to afford it and they would have too much juice for anyone to take the car just because of the plate.
