I still like the Prowler and I still can't afford one. I was looking at them on Ebay and had a thought, what if they had been introduced in 2017? Imagine how different the performance would be with a modern drivetrain, say a 3.6 with a nine speed automatic. It would be a completely different vehicle; quarter mile times in the low 12s and way better gas mileage for its tiny fuel tank. Of course, with better performance it would sure need better brakes, maybe a set of Brembos like the SRTs get?
They are holding their value well, the least expensive one currently on Ebay is $30K. Imagine if they had the performance to go with the look. |

The only problem is if they were produced now. With modern performance they would come with a modern price tag.
