I like the style of some 30s and 50s cars but I never want another car that has a carburetor or a distributer. Or even a three-speed automatic. On the other hand there is a lot of tech on my wife's 200 that I have no use for. I guess with respect to cars I'm stuck solidly in the 90s to mid 2000s. That doesn't leave many choices of Mopar body styles and if the goal is a RWD V-8 that weighs less than 3500 lbs...well...sorry.
I wonder which is heavier, independent rear suspension or live axle? 20" aluminum wheels / tires or 15" steel? Roll-up windows or power? How much weight do the power seat mechanisms add? Would it be possible to get a 2008 Magnum down to 3200 lbs and still be a comfortable, fun, good handling daily driver. |

Not sure about all the weights. But cutting weight on a magnum to gain performance sounds like fun.
