Default 3.9 litre

I have a 1991 ram 50. The 2.4 is really tired..and although I have had a 360 powered ram 50 in the past.. I thought a nice nice mild 200 hp 3.9 litre v6 might be perfect for this truck.

This truck already has an A500 in in so swapped a v6 A500 should be a bolt in.

Making mounts is a breeze like the 360 powered one I built years ago.

I currently get around 23 mpg so I figure I should easily get that with the V6. The truck is only 2400 lbs.

Any suggestions on parts for the 3.9.

I figured maybe some 318 keith black 9 to 1 pistons. Roller rockers and a good valve job and maybe a bit of porting.

I should be able to swap most of the truck wiring in to keep it fuel injected.

Thinking about the magnum engine.

Just because it has the A500 doesn't mean it will bolt right up. Chrysler used different bell housings for different engines.

You didn't read my post...bolt in...not bolt on.

The A500 should bolt in to the same space at the current A500.

I would use the one that comes with the 3.9 litre.

Speaking of a v6, a 3.6 sounds good, what with all that power. But the cost would be hard to deal with.
