Confused 3/8" NPT port for temp probe switch/small block

I have an Edelbrock air gap intake manifold on my 340. Currently running an electric fan without a relay. Want to use a relay harness and threaded probe switch. I have only one 3/8" port on the intake and I am using it for the mechanical temperature sending unit. Anywhere I can put this temp probe switch? It should go into the head or intake but no port to put it in. They make 1" thermostat housing spacers with extra 3/8" ports for gm engines or the small thermostats but I can't find one of these spacers for the Mopar small block engines. Guess no one makes them. I could go with an electric temp gauge as the sender uses the smaller port located across from the 3/8" port that I have my mech temp gauge probe in. Hate to use an electric temp gauge though. I thought someone would make one of the thermostat spacers for the small block mopar engines. That would have been to easy.
