Default Wanted: 71-73 D100

I am looking for a 1971-73 D100 pickup, preferably with a 360/727 for my next project. I am in Northern California (San Jose). I know I should post this under Vehicles Wanted, but I already have and nobody looks there. Same with Ram Truck forum, so here goes...Sorry if anyone is offended by my misplaced post.

That should be easy to find. They are in the paper for sale here all the time. Usually you can find a really nice one for $1500 or so.

The 72 & 73 are a completely different truck than the 71. If looking for a 71, try the forums on these websites:

www.sweptline.com

www.dodgesweptline.org

For 72 & 73 you might try:

www.crosswinds.net/~dodgetruck/

Actually, I like both styles. The only reason I want it 71-up is because I would like it to have a 360 if possible.

jfs mopars,
Thanks for that website. I actually have logged on there before and was thinking of checking it out to begin with but forgot the web address.

451boy,
Believe it or not, I have looked in the local paper, www.cars.com, and autos.yahoo.com religiously for the past two months, and no one around here is selling. I've always said people out here know their cars.

I've got a '73 3/4 Ton Power Wagon hulk I bought for parts. If you're interested in a frame with a valid title, let me know. I'm in Northwest Oregon, near Lincoln City - Kind of a long trailer tow for you. It would be a Project - with a capital "P".

If I had a trailer and a van that could make the trip, I'd be there..But I don't, so I'm stuck here.

Sounds nice, though.

I have a rough looking 3/4 ton 1968 sweptline. The dash is sort of cool with the shifter mounted in the center of the dash (stock.)
The truck is two wheel drive and has a 360/727, but it originally was a 383/727.
If your intrested let me know, It may be gone shortly. A friend seems intrested in it, but dosen't have any money ($1,200.)
The cost is mostly for the engine. The transmision needs replaced.
The 360 is 0.030" over forged flat top pistons, crower cam, holley intake and carb, MP electronic ignition conversion, headders, dual exhaust, Moroso/K&N air filter, windage tray, polished resized rods with Mopar Performance rod bolts, engine was ballaced, etc.

The '76 have a better front suspension that the old '68 like I have, and they come with Disk Brakes up front. It probbly has the 9-1/4" rear axle as I think the 8-3/4 was discontinued after '74 or '75.
