Does anyone know the procedure to convert a 69 Road Runner generator to a Alternator?

The '69 RoadRunner used an alternator. I think that you are probably wanting to convert from a single field alternator with a mechanical regulator to a dual field alternator with an electronic regulator.

It is a very simple process. I have the wiring diagrams at home. If nobody else posts that information before late tonight, I will post it.

Nick,

Here it is:

The old field wire (on the existing regulator) will connect to pin F (the bottom right pin) of the new regulator. The Ignition wire (on the other side of the existing regulator) will connect to pin I (top pin) of the new regulator. The new field wire will connect in at the same place as the ignition wire, or you can hook it to the ignition side (not coil side) of the ballast resistor.

That's all there is to it.
