Question Plymouth Trailduster?? What is the deal?

As far as the real differences between a Plymouth Trailduster and a Dodge Ramcharger I am not sure.
I have heard that all the Traildusters came with a big block. I don't know if that is true. I know that they are 'rare' compared to the Ramchargers and are a curious 4x4 because it is a Plymouth.

The reason I am asking is because there is one for sale in the local "bargain paper" for $500. All it says it the engine has an electrical problem.

I have a 75 original 440 powered Trailduster - seems identical to Ramchargers I have seen and my 75 Dodge truck for that matter, aside from some trim, etc. I love the thing - I have the soft convertible top (which you can still buy new from Bestop) and the hard top. They were definitely not all big blocks - I have seen small block ones, plus I have the 1975 brocure and it even lists the slant six as being standard.

Same assembly line, identical truck. Only decals, emblems and the Dodge grill on some years (1977 & 1978) had D-O-D-G-E imprinted in the metal of the grill, while the Plymouth was left blank.

Default Might check it out

The one in the ad was a '77. It didn't give any details at all.
That really makes me want to check it out because when details are left out it usually means one of 2 things. It is a total peice of sh*t or the owner knows nothing about it or doesn't care.
Could be a 360 or 400 under the hood.
I think I will check on it when I get home.
