Default Worked 360 and 5/16" fuel line

Am I wasting my time with the MP 80 gal/hr mechanical fuel pump and stock fuel line in my '71 Dart??

I've just rebuilt the 360 with 218*@50/0.480/110* cam, ported iron heads, Edelbrock RPM/750 vacsec Holley...

It all seems to run well up to 4500rpm(well enough to scare the crikey out of me!), but I worry about fuel starvation when I finally swap the exhaust manifolds/ single 2" exhaust for the headers and twin 2-1/2" pipes and get closer to a 6000rpm redline....

Should I be looking at a higher capacity fuel pump & line ?

Cheers, Paul.S

You could run a fuel pressure gauge and have a friend check the pressure as you run WOT in top gear at the track, or might be easier to check on a chasis dyno, but that would not account for acceleration "G" forces acting on the fuel system (unless you tilted the front of the car up quite a bit?)
I have seen the 5/16" fuel line work when the car had an electric fuel pump pushing fuel through the line, but I'm not sure how well it will work with the mechanical pump pulling the fuel?

Should be ok, cam is fairly mild for a 360, I ran a 255 @ 0.050 mechanical in my 360, Carter mechanical pump, 750 DP, 5/16 lines, no fuel delivery problems to report..

Fuel pressure gauge shows a constant 7 psi
