Question 3/8" fuel line - Demon carb

My 440 is still sputtering through the gears and it has been suggested that I install a 3/8" fuel line and a new Demon carb. The question I have is what do I need to change on my fuel tank to accept the 3/8" line and can I use the Summit complete furel system with the Summitt 140 gph pump and the 5-12 psi fuel regulator? I currently have a 750 eddy with stock fuel pump and lines. The 440 has a radical purple cam, headers and 3:91 posi rear end, 4-speed hurst. Please advise. Thanks Dean Prevolos
