Default disk brakes for a 1964 Plymouth Valiant

Hello

I have a 1964 Plymouth Valiant and I would like to put disk brakes on it.

I have a 1973 Polara as a parts car. Could I take the disk brakes off of it and put them on the Valiant?

Has anyone done this?

Any advice?

The parts have to come from another A-body. There is an article on slantsix.org that tells how to do it.

Hi there

Are both the polara and the valiant A-bodies?

That would be a definite NO. Unless they did some cross branding in Canada. Polara is a C-body and and Valiant is an A-body.

We have kits that can set you up with front and rear disc brakes if you like. E mail me at ******************** and I'll get you set up.
