Thank's! The truck is pretty fun on the highway because of the way it is geared. Some guy in a newer chevy truck tried racing me from an on-ramp onto the highway. He seemed to be staying along side of me up to about 90 MPH, then I suprised him when I shifted into third gear and took off down the road! Oh, I almost forgot, I was pulling a 20 foot car trailer behind me (it was empty, but it still slowed me down some.)

yup, know what you mean, my 69 had a real healthy 318, it was FUN!!!!!on the hiway, it had 3.55's. it was fun, cause 1st gear shift was at 70mph, had to be carefull though, cause it would throw the belt easy after bout 5500rpm.
the motor was a 318, X heads(ported, relieved) port matched to a tuned port o sonic, harland sharp rollers, 290/590 mech roler cam, gear drive, windage tray, ect. i did not build the motor for the truck, but i got rid of my duster an dswapped motors bfore i sold it. the duster ran low/mid 12's till i figured out how to drive it, did a mid 11 at 127 and they told me to take it home and put a cage in it, oops. what was so great bout it was the 50mph 1st gear kickdown, it would spin the back tire (1), gave the cam and manifold camaro's something to fear |

livelarge, about the hemi, it was given to a high school shop class about 5 mo ago, oh well, i was bummed too, unless, of corse, a young dodge nut got ahold of it, hey, that might not be too bad
