Default Electric fuel pumps

Hey All,I need some advice on a performance elec.fuel pump.I have the holley "blue" pump now and it is slowly driving me mad with the damn noise it makes! I have soft mounted it but still it is louder than the stereo, especially since I added the 3/8 alum.fuel line from the tank to the regulator.I am running the 5.9 magnum with no ecentric for a mech. pump so I am kind of stuck.I need a good quiet pump that will supply 400hp{eventually}and maybe a small {50-100}shot of funny gas.
Have any of you tried the new holley vane style pump?Dont get me wrong the Blue pump works flawlessly but I cant take it any more Thanks for any help,John

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

flowing to an almost 600hp 440, and 1050 demon carb...

pretty quiet... with my car off and pump on i can barely hear it.. have a pretty weak stereo and it can easily overcome the noise..

Yep. Comes from the cell with #10 line to two large Fram filters side by side then to the two pumps, then Y's to the 1/2 line all the way up front till it hits the regs and to both TQ's on top of the Weaind T ram. Works real well. Oh, I also have a pressure gauge tied into the Y at the pump and then up at the carbs so you can compare. You can figure out if a pump is failing that way.

Yeah, it's bigger than a 440 and it needs some fuel. Still a little over kill using a pair of pumps I think, but it does not effect anything like that. It wont run out at top end anyways. I have had that car since I was in high school. It's sitting under a cover in the back of the shop for now. Been thinking about getting it back out and putting it to use if I can keep the cops off of it ... lol!!

Do those carter pumps whir or do the "stutter" I had a carter years ago that made a stuttering sound, worked alright, didnt know flow on it. Left it on one weekend on an empty tank and it burned itself out (on its own circuit, duh)
