The choices are lacking in more than one way, but I guess a full roller 11.1 B
472 w/ indy heads would work nicely or reworked 528.

Wow factor = Hemi. At a car show, those plugs in the valve covers will give it all the hp it needs to scare off most people.

factory block engine? definitely the 230 casting 400 stroked to 451. my 71 dart with0.60 over 440 and 8 3/4 runs 9.89s the 400 block webbing can handle more hp than the hemi as it has more, aftermarket, indy maxx 4.5 bore or the kb at 540 cubes should get you into the low 8s with single carb. 572? naw , not much gained over the 540. I outrun race hemis on occasion

Out of the list the turbo slant6 was the coolest. But I wouldn't vote that of a big heavy Charger.

ultimate motor

back in the mid 80's a friend of mine had a 40 willys coupe that was a b/gas record holder in the late 60's w/426 hemi power. He had a chassis built for it and kept the hemi {we were all mopar nuts and we had the ultimate car/motor in our humble opinions, and he actually got 4 hemis in the deal} I helped crew the car and when people saw that hilborn injected hemi they would flock around it. A blower is cool also, but for nostalgia I'd put a injector set up on it any day. The car weighed about 3300 lbs and ran 9.40's at 140 + mph.
