Default nitrous on 440

i've got a 440 with hyperutectic slugs, cast crank and rods, balanced, lunati voodoo cam, 226-234 duration 452 casting heads slightly ported, and was wondering about puttin a small shot of nitrous on it, kb said the hyperutectics are safe for say a 150 or so shot, all i'm maybe wanting to run is a 100-150 somewhere in that range was thinking about getting one of the adjustable kits that starts out at 50 whats the most compression i can run?? would compression in the 10.0-10.5 or so range be too much?? i'm a newbie to this stuff. any help appreciated

Default Nitrous on a 440

With the hyperutectic pistons I wouldn't run any more than 125 shot and at that you will have to be careful with the timing. Take 3 to 4 deg out and you should be O.K. Also you may want to richen it up just a little. Better too rich than too lean. Wedgehead

I would consider a 100 shot and tune it down a bit. That 440 can handle it, and you won't worry every time you hit the button for the juice. Just my opine hehe.
