Question Supercharger with Ram Air hood?

This may seem like a stupid question but is it possible to run a ram air hood with a supercharger?

I've got a Keystone hood (Profinish-Proglass design) and would eventually like to S/C my V-6 but wanted to know whether it's possible.

Are you worried about clearence. The S/C's like a paxton/vortec designs take very little room to fit in under the hood. Call a surplyer if nobody else answers the post with actually haveing done it.

OK, I've got a hood, never been painted, there is no hole cut for an airbox and to be honest I don't even have an airbox yet. I was just wondering can a S/C function in conjunction with a hood or is it one or the other?

Centrifical S/C's do not need an airbox to funtion. If you want to have the ramair hood feed air to the S/C, it might take some custom work. On Tv, I have seen "Trucks do some interesting mods to a full size ram. Or was it a Mopar muscle mag...whatever...They used a hood styled from an old MoPar muscle car that feed into the stock airbox.
You might be able to combine the 2. Nothin is ever easy.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. The centrifical S/C's do not take up much room at all. Most if not all fit under the hood easy. Running the intake pipe of the S/C to the open area of the hood is not a hard thing. Fabing the tube into the box with the air cleaner and getting it to work is the hard part. Time to use the noodle.
