Another legend passes
Fellow Moparchat members,
sanborn has gone to be with the Lord. He passed on March 1. He was a true racer's racer. He was a close friend to my late father and a true mentor to me. He would help anyone in their pursuit to go faster. His health deteriorated in the last few years, but he was always one to call and check on my latest projects. He will truly be missed by many, but he no longer battles the medical issues he fought on a daily basis. His son, Jeff, manages the family business and continues to help fellow racers just as his Dad did for years. God speed Charles H. Sanborn. Lon |
Sorry to hear. I looked forward to Sanborn's tips.

My sympathy to the family.

So sorry to hear this. He still is a great resource here. Thank you for all you did for the mopar racers. RIP

Rest in peace Mr Sanborn.
I learned a lot from him. |
Mentor
Charles had a wonderful way of getting a point across. I had been struggling with understanding a handling issue. He turned the light on for me.
May you rest in peace. God speed Sanborn!:king: |
He was a true racer for sure... not afraid to do the work necessary to get the job done.
I had been wondering lately how he was doing as we haven't heard much from him in the last few years. His moniker is pretty well know in the Mopar world... I see his oiling and water mods appear in quite a few places. RIP. Thanks so much for posting this Lon.... hope you are doing well. |

Wow I've been Mia on the chat sorry to here the news. He was a good guy talk to him a few times on the phone.

Sanborn was the best. We had many conversations and I've never met so much knowledge in such a humble man. I've got most of his writings from here stored on my computer. I'll miss him. last time I talked with him he said he needed to get his wife's hot rod finished. I hope he managed that. So few people of his character. RIP.
