Tip on cardboard headliner & windlace

Found a good source for windlace material that looks just like the factory stuff. www.restorationspecialties.com Also if anyone is interested on making a replacement headliner for 73 up Mopars with the cardboard syle headliner email me and I'll tell you how I did mine. They don't make these anymore but you can custom make your own fairly easy. I made a vinyl covered one for my 73 Duster340 with factory sunroof. I'll give you all the details if you need them in the email.

please please!!

my 340, please post how to do this. I have been trying to locate this panel for my 1970 se. I have called everyone I can with no results. The more detail the better. Also, could you post pics here of your headliner? thanks so much. You may have just completed my interior! plumebody

plumebody email me at rbking@yhti.net if you want some info. It would just take up too much room here to try and explain it all. I'll be glad to help you if I can. Remember this is not for a bow style headliner but a cardboard style using vinyl or or foam backed cloth over it. The material isn't cardboard but that's the easiest term to use when describing it.

I completed the installation yesterday and reinstalled everything. Looks real good with no mistakes. Cost me $60 in materials which included the Stratacore vinyl cardboard, marine grade vinyl and windlace trim for the sunroof opening. It's tedious and takes time but it was well worth the time and effort.
