1964 Chrysler 300 Silver Edition

I recently purchased a 1964 Chrysler 300, silver with black landau top. Built in March. It has a 383 2 barrel with black bucket seats. Would this be considered a silver edition? If so, how many were built? Were they originally 2or 4 barrel 383's? Thank you.

I'm surprised it's a 2bbl? My Uncle had a '64 300K (?) and it had a 413 w/4bbl. I know they had the 2bbl 383's then but I thought the 300's used 4bbl's? Maybe just the letter cars?

The '64 "Silver 300" spring special two-door hardtop would have a black leather/vinyl interior along with the matching Landau vinyl roof and silver paint. Sounds like you have one.

The basic 300 had the 383-2 as the standard engine, only the 300K (and New Yorker) got the 413 standard.
