dodge performance parts. magnum valve covers on 318 ?

Will the dodge magnum valve covers that
mopar performance makes fit on my 1974 318 ????

They should. I have seen this done before with the magnum valve covers on a pre magnum motor. They should go on with no problem.

They most definitely will. I have a 74 318 with a set on them right now.

Magnum Valve covers have 10 hold down bolts as opposed to 5 for non-Magnum covers. You can still bolt them down though but with only half the screws.

So can you go the other way and use the MP cast covers for LA on a Magnum? They seem to sell for around $80 while the Magnums have increased to double that.

I wouldnt think they would seal rite. They magnum heads were ment for 10 valve cover screws and regular valva covers only have 5. All i could say is to try it and see what happens.
