And It's Papa John's for the Win!

I was coming home from work tonight and was a couple vehicle behind a Mercury Sable on 18's or 19's with a Papa John's sign on the roof and a Saab 9-3 with Pennsylvania plates and a Domino's sign on the roof, both of which were the first cars at the light and I'm thinking it would be kinda funny if these two went at it when the light changed. When the light changes they both go, not to quickly but still running side by side. As I'm following them several carlengths back, I notice a slight puff of something come out of the Saab's tailpipe and both cars start to accelerate, again. The Sable got ahead as both cars were running 70mph or so (in a 40 mph zone) and turned right at the next light while the Saab stayed in the same lane as I was in at that light and turned into a subdivision about 1/2 mile past there.

I actually saw a domino's and another pizza place (?) delivery car race from a light. It was like watching a snail and a slug. That was funny.

This one wasn't much better, probable could have taken both with my Jeep until about 90mph.

The Mazzio's(local chain) gal's still driving her Yugo, with 230,000 on it. I think it's the only running Yugo in NE OK. She says she can squeeze 30MPG in town with it....kids on bikes probably pass her. But for delievering pizza's, it's a winner. One of the old Datsun deisel pick-ups would probably be a good pizza vehicle, if there are any left. A Golf/Rabbit desiel wouldn't be good for delivering pizza's...you've got to get there in an hour, and they won't run that long.
