silencer ring??

does removing the silencer ring from the turbo give any advantage?? i had a guy trying to tell me it can give you 30hp but to me that sounds like a tall tale

Most of the guys on the truck forums that removed it reported more noise but no change in performance.

Only increases the whistle the turbo makes thats all.

ya just more whistle from the turbo i got mine out it just sounds cool is all it does
