Eventually, I want to hop up my '65 Slanter. I am considering the triple Weber setup, but the four barrel would be fine too. Living in Colorado, which would be better?

It depends on how much money and patience you have. Webers are pricey, and can be a pain in the butt to tune. But it is hard to beat them for the "Cool" factor. A 4bbl is much cheaper and easier to work with.:)

Yeah, I have the latest Clifford catalog, and the DCOE Webers are $350 a piece. That's a lot of clams. Patience? Don't have any of that either. I am currently hollowing out an old oil bath air cleaner that will get chromed. It might give it that sort of stock look to fool some folks.

Are the carbs 350 dollars a piece like 350 X 3 is the total price?
I am thinking of throwing those puppy's on my slant.

I'm not sure, some say yes, and some say no. I'm sure that kick down linkage would be a major pain (if you need it).

Triple Webers look great and can be made to run well but the cost is high. There is justs lot's of stuff to buy:
$200 for the manifold,
$350 x 3 for the carbs,
$60 for linkage "bits",
$80+ for fuel lines & fittings,
$$$ for some air cleaners,...

$1600.00 later it's running, but not real good....another $100 for an air flow meter. A set of Weber jets $50.00, a set of air bleeds, $40.00, it all adds-up fast.

Prolinefuel.com has something you might be more interested in for the cooooool look, and half the cost of what DD quoted on the realistic price of 1600$. For 750$, you can get the dual webbers, that in my opinion, is about the correct cfm you would need on a decently built /6.

Well now, that is a sweetheart of a set up, isn't it? I really like it and I know what I'll be dreaming of tonight. I was thinking about taking the slanter out of my '65 Dart to make room for the 340. But what to do with the slanter itself? Getting rid of it is out of the question. It's been entirely too good to me. I was thinking about installing it in something really different later on, say a '32 Dodge roadster. Now that would be cool. Whaddya think?

Hey, guys!!! Don't forget eBay discounts. I got my weber 32/36 on eBay for $50. Right now there are at least 2 triple DCOE setups going for $250 or less (that's right THREE DCOE's in a set for a TOTAL of $250 or less.)
