My truck has an 8" lift(two 4" rubber blocks)
on each side on rear, just leafs in front...
Is this stock from factory?
Also i would appreciate any other info about
my truck...Thanks in advance

Not sure on that one. Some Ramchargers came w/ factory lifts I believe..... Chances are it's an add on. Many 17-20 yr olds take hockey pucks (cause they are plentiful here in MN) And stick them in the body mounts for a very cheap lift. I guess I'd never do it, but it does work. (for a while)

To begin with, I have 3 79 Ramchargers. If you have any questions about your truck, email me at dodge4x4@visi.net. I have learned alot about them thru trial and error and from being the president of a now deceased club for Ramcharger / Trailduster owners (about 150 members worldwide). That being said, I am aware of no lifts that were factory installed, but the factory did install 4" blocks under the rear springs to increase the height on the 4wd versions. This prevented having to put in deeper arched springs in the rear (to match ride height with the front springs), and therefore rougher riding. They better not be rubber, or you are driving a time bomb waiting to crumble apart. The easy way to make a body lift, is to buy 9" long flat boat rollers, and cut them in 3" long pieces. They come with the hole already drilled, are the same diameter as the factory bushings, and are solid. I did this on mine and saved myself $ 120 over a store bought body lift (they are more expensive for a sport ute).

How do I join the Ramcharger/Trailduster club??? I have a 75 'Duster and an 81 Ram. I'd love to join!

Unfortunately, the club is dead. Too many people wanted a free ride, and when dues were due, no one paid. I lost over $ 850 of my own money, and that was it. If you want to send me information, I can add it to the database I still have, and if things change and I decide to start it up again, I can contact you then. email is dodge4x4@visi.net

Thanks Ramcharger 4x4...
Sorry for the slow reply...I was wrong they are 2 4" steel blocks...it seems stock...the blocks are under the springs...both leafs are slightly bowed(almost level)...It doesn`t have it now,but it came stock with a plow...the extra stock headlight switch is still there with the plow levers...
Thanks
