Window Tint %
ok im gonna tint my windows in my pt cruiser what % Tint is the closest to the factory tint for the rear windows and glass?
i wanna tint my front windows to match the rear glass what % black do i need? thanks! |

Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows Any darkness can be applied 4" inches from the top of the window. Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used. Rear Window Any darkness can be used. |

Are you trying to match the rear tint? As the fronts don't often have tint from the factory due to laws in different states.
I would go with a 35%. It is dark, but not really dark like the 20% and lower tints. It will look darker as well being that the rears are all tinted. I've had really good luck with the precut kits and pieces offered by Northern Tint and Graphics (ebay seller). Good quality, computer cut for exact fit, easy install on most side windows (even on sedans). GL with your tinting. Are you going to do it or have it done at a shop? If going to a shop, they can measure your rear window tint transparency and match it if you ask them to. |
