2011 Ram 1500 service 4 wheel drive light on, how to shut off
I have a 2011 Ram 1500 and the dealer just serviced(replaced) my tire pressure sensors on the drivers side. Now just a bit ago the service four wheel drive light came on. How do I get that off without going back and yelling at the dealer? Thanks in advance !!

If the light came on then the computer sensed a problem with the system. So really you need to have the codes checked and you can go from there. There is just no way to guess why the light is on, unless your super lucky.
But, My dad has a 2011 Ram 1500. His service 4wd light came on. The transfer case control module was faulty. His code was for an internal module fault. I highly doubt that the light coming on after having a tire sensor replaced is related. |

Loose connection
Well it turns out that either by the alignment, tire rotation or replacing the tire pressure sensors, the transfer case connection was loose and when I went through the car wash it short circuited, causing the problems. Dealer cleaned it and put some grease on it and working fine. Thanks for all the help.... RAM ON!
